Anna Caroline Türk
My passion for Open Space (OS) sprung up as a participant. In OS meetings I am thrown back to the question: What do I want? Responding to this question is surprisingly creative, engaging, and revitalising.
I have been working with OS for ten years. The praxis shows that time and space in meetings allow the participants to confront complex or even delicate situations. Solutions and next steps are always in the air. As a facilitator I strengthen people to gather courage. To confront and respond to questions when there is not only one answer.
During an OS conference I’m strictly holding on to my role as facilitator - it's my job to hold time and space. While I am standing back the people get self-organised. I know that they are the experts!
It looks as if I was simply standing and not doing anything?
Believe me: This is hard work and my greatest passion!
